      CREAN SALLEY HEALTH & SAFETY

      Health & Safety

Crean Salley Architects are one of the first architectural practices to study, evaluate, implement and advise clients under the Building Control (Amendment) Regulation 2014 of 2014

Crean Salley Architects now have trained staff acting in the roles of Design Certifier and Assign Certifier

The Building Control Act allows only certain registered professionals to inspect and certify buildings and works.

In general, where Crean Salley Architects are appointed as Architects and Design Certifiers, the umbrella company of Crean Salley Health and Safety will undertake the separate and legal role of Assign Certifier

Our resident Health and Safety Consultant, Des Crean, recently wrote about his role as PSDP - click the article across to read more...

    3. Dublin BIM Consultant Patrick Nolan

      BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING

      BIM

Crean Salley implemented BIM in the office to improve better building design by way of better analysis (structure / energy / cost / programme), Information workflows (digital transfers, reduced duplication of effort), Improved coordination (better tenders, reduced waste & construction costs), Improved building performance (reduced operation costs), with improved (reduced Risk) effective project delivery.

Crean Salley Architects implements procedures and protocols to enable collaboration of coordinated design and construction project tasks. Each task is carried out in a particular manner for the mutual benefit of all those involved, otherwise known as “collaborative working". In such an environment, information is produced using standardized processes and agreed standards and methods. This allows information to be used and re-used without change or interpretation, increasing efficiency, and therefore commercial competitiveness.

Our resident BIM Consultant, Patrick Nolan, recently wrote about his experience with this new software - click the article across to read more...
